Refunds & Returns
Return Window
Returns must be requested within 15 days of delivery.
Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return, products must:
- Be in original condition
- Include all original packaging, accessories, manuals, and documentation
- Show no signs of installation, damage, misuse, or modification
- Be accompanied by proof of purchase
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is the result of a shipping error or a product received damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Restocking Fee
Approved returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee unless otherwise noted in the product listing or required by law.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Special-order products
- Custom-configured or programmed products
- Installed products or products showing signs of installation
- Clearance or closeout items
- Software licenses, subscriptions, or digital products
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact Wave Sound & Security within 48 hours of delivery. Photographs of the product, packaging, and shipping label may be required to assist with claims and replacement requests.
Exchanges
Products are only eligible for exchange if they are received damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Refund Processing
Once a return is received and inspected, customers will be notified of approval or rejection.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. Depending on your financial institution, it may take several business days for the refund to appear on your account after processing.
Return Authorization
Please contact Wave Sound & Security before returning any product. Do not ship products directly to the manufacturer unless instructed to do so by Wave Sound & Security or the manufacturer.
Manufacturer Warranties
Most products sold by Wave Sound & Security are covered by manufacturer warranties. Warranty claims are generally handled directly through the manufacturer unless otherwise required by law.

Orders are shipped using reputable carriers selected based on product size, destination, and delivery requirements.
Delivery Times
Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Weather, carrier delays, and other circumstances beyond our control may affect delivery schedules.
Shipping Damage
Customers should inspect shipments upon arrival. Any visible shipping damage should be documented and reported promptly.
If significant shipping damage is visible at the time of delivery, customers should refuse the shipment whenever possible and notify Wave Sound & Security immediately.
Photographs of the damaged packaging and product may be required to assist with shipping claims.
Product Availability
While we strive to maintain accurate inventory information, some products may become unavailable after an order is placed. In such cases, customers will be notified and offered an alternative product, backorder option, or refund.

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, specifications, images, and pricing are accurate. However, errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct errors and update information without prior notice.
Pricing
Prices are subject to change without notice. If a pricing error is discovered after an order is placed, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.
Installation Services
Products purchased through our online store may require professional installation. Customers are responsible for confirming compatibility with their existing equipment unless installation or consultation services are purchased separately.
Installed products become non-returnable once installation has begun or been completed, except where required by law or in cases of verified product defects.
Order Acceptance
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order for reasons including suspected fraud, pricing errors, product availability issues, or violations of these terms.
Limitation of Liability
Wave Sound & Security shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of products purchased through this website.
Governing Law
These policies and terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Connecticut.
